Comilla Victorians, who were the first team to qualify for the final, have been the dark horses in this campaign. They defeated the defending champions, Rangpur Riders in the first qualifier to book their berth for the final on Friday. The Victorians registered a massive eight-wicket victory over Rangpur Riders to storm their way into the final. They have the momentum with them heading into this crunch contest.

Dhaka Dynamites, on the other hand, picked up their pace in the business end of the tournament and won three games on the trot to qualify for the final. Shakib has led his side exceptionally well throughout the campaign. They won both the Eliminator and second Qualifier to book their berth in the final. After defeating the Vikings in the Eliminator by six wickets, the Dynamites crushed the reigning champions by five wickets in the second Qualifier.
