According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), children are the most common victims of dog bites. Residents were able to save Peoples from the dogs and gave him first aid until emergency responders arrived, according to WAAY TV....

A 49-year-old man was shot multiple times around 10:30 p.m. on the 2700 block of North Garnett Street in North Philadelphia, police said. His 43-year-old wife was also shot in the hands. Both were identified by police as being the father and mother of the alleged shooter’s girlfriend, according to WPVI. The man was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead and his wife is said to be in a stable condition, the outlet reported....
